purple is winning, which I think I was kind of expecting, because it's the most deep and vibrant colour out of the ones here
however there are absolutely no votes for yellow, because the yellow is kind of a gross shade, which makes me want to get it even more to add to my collection of yellow things that I own that are in very unappealing hues

I think alcohol just leads to an unfun time for me lol
I mean some alcohols straight up give me headaches and if it doesn't (like gin!) I just get increasingly nauseated especially if I also have food lol

ok I know how much I can be funded. looks like conference hotel for three days is 555$. POPL conference registration itself is 515$. ok do I really wanna go if only the chunk I know I can get reimbursed for is guaranteed

has a compelling and clearly written case as to why it was/is important for the applicant to attend the conference. Make sure that you explain why this conference is important to your professional development. Vague explanations that can apply equally to any conference will hurt your application.
